About Us
We provide support to families who care for their sick or injured child.
We believe when families are together, they cope better. We believe no family should have to deal with their child’s medical crisis alone.

We believe when families are together, they cope better. We believe no family should have to deal with their child’s medical crisis alone.
At Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia, we provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare.
Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia provides two core programs that support families with children receiving medical care: the Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald House Family Room.
Since 1984, Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia has provided comfort and care to families when they needed it most.
On average, Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia helps over 700 families each year stay together during medical crises by providing lodging, meals, comfort, and support. By easing financial and emotional burdens, we create a healing environment where families can focus on their child’s care.
The leadership team, including the Board of Directors, is instrumental in ensuring that the families we serve have the assistance, care and comfort they need to be able to offer their support during their child’s time of need.
Our mission is made possible through the generosity of our mission partners that provide the resources, support, and compassion that allow Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia to serve families when they need us most.
