McDonald’s is the founding, and forever partner of the charity called Ronald McDonald House. Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia is McDonald’s charity of choice, but no one can solely support a charity. Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia is an independent 501c3 responsible for raising its own funds. McDonald’s supports our programs in the following ways:

• Round-Up at McDonalds
• A penny from Happy Meals from our area stores 
• Permitting our donation boxes in its restaurants 
• Volunteer support 

Additional financial support such as event sponsorships and national fundraisers is on a year-to-year basis and not guaranteed or budgeted for.
